Part 3, New York City's businesswomen make clothes for British children. Part 4 shows Doorn Castle, Netherlands. Flashbacks show German Emperor Wilhelm II at Doorn Castle, with Belgian King Albert in 1912, and reviewing troops in 1917 Part 5, a B-19 bomber's wheels crash through a concrete runway. Part 6, Italian officers and soldiers surrender in Asmara, Italy. Eritrea. Shows scuttled Italian ships and freed British POW's in Massau. Part 7, flashbacks show Lou Gehrig playing with the New York Yankees, with his family, on a horse, speaking, and with Babe Ruth and New York City's Mayor LaGuardia.

George Herman Ruth was born February 6, 1895 in Baltimore, Maryland to Katherine and George Herman Ruth Sr. In 1902, Ruth was sent to St. Mary's Industrial School for Boys, an orphanage and reformatory, at the age of seven to teach him discipline.
